The Mizzou Guard duo receives the NBA G League Elite Camp Invitation

According to Michael Scotto from USA Today, Missouri Guards Tamar Bates and Caleb Grill received both invitations to the NBA G League elite camp. Gates and grill are invited to two out of 50 views, including 14 players from the Southeasters Conference.

The NBA G League elite camp will take place in Chicago from May 9th to 11th. The players will compete in mobility and strength exercises together with five-against-five games before NBA and G League Scouts. The players also have the option of earning invitations to the NBA Combine, which is hired for May 11th to 18th in Chicago.

Gates and Grill were the life elixir of Missouris campaign 2024-2025, both team captains for the tigers. Grill was second with 13.7 points per game for Missouri and Bates with 13.3 third. Both moved to Missouri before the 2023-2024 season.
