Vietnam indicates 1,529 in a massive drug breaks in connection with the air –

On May 3, the police from Ho Chi Minh announced the police in the ongoing investigation into the VN10, which began when four flight attendants were caught by Vietnam's Airlines flight attendant on March 16, 2023 to smash narcotics through Tan Son Nhat Airport.

So far, the authorities have successfully broken down the “river” of narcotics through complex networks and successfully broken down over 500 branches and sub -networks of criminal organizations that work in 36 provinces and cities. The investigators have charged 1,529 suspects and confiscated 568.5 kilograms of different narcotics, 12 firearms, 67 balls, 3 grenades and other related evidence.

The police estimate that the entire drug -related transaction value in this case exceeds 29 trillion and (approx. 1.14 billion USD).

Since the discovery of the four flight attendants, the Special Task Force has been working intensively to review data and question suspects in order to reconstruct the criminal network and identify all relatives.

The previously arrested suspects included Ngo van Minh and Pham Nguyen Kim Hong, who were charged in November and December 2024 for illegal drug trafficking. Information from their cases prompted the authorities to uncover two large -scale pharmaceutical trade groups.

The monitoring showed that these groups transported significant amounts of narcotics to supply users and addicts in the province of Binh Duong and in Ho Chi Minh City, especially in the last holiday season on April 30.

On April 24th and 25th, the Ho Chi Minh police moved in, who successfully dismantled both groups, arrested 27 people and confiscated over 245 kilograms of drugs, preventing them from reaching the public.

In recognition of these extraordinary achievements, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security on May 3 gave awards and awarded the Ho -chi -Minh city teams involved in the operation.
