Laura Stacey achieved in OT when Victoire defeated the fleet 3-2 after blown 2-goal lead

Laval, Quebec-Laura Stacey scored 4:17 in extra time to give the Montreal Victoire a 3-2 victory over the Boston fleet on Monday evening.

It was Stacey's 11th goal of the season and the fourth game winner when Montreal secured the lead in the opening round of the professional Women's Hockey League in the opening of the Professional Women's Hockey League. If the Toronto Sceptres lose against the New York Sirens on Tuesday, Montreal will revitalize first place.

Boston forced the extension with two late goals in 39 seconds, but it wasn't enough to get the victory out.

Montreal opened the gate on the power play when Jennifer Gardin came from the bank to knock the rebound after Abby Boreen's shot rang from the post. The goal came to the third power game of the game's Victoire.

Boston lowered the lead to 2-1, whereby 2:46 remained with a short -handed goal by Hannah Brandt. Hannah Bilka tied the game just 39 seconds later.

Ann-Renee Desbia, who scored 27 parades, scored her 14th win of the season.
