Enderbear 0: 0 as Lions waste points compared to 10-man-fire-das Mätteland

Orlando City extended his undefeated run to eight games (3-0-5) in the Soldier Field in Chicago, but there is no good opportunity to turn a 0-0 street against a fire brigade team that has put down a man in the first half. The lions (4-2-5, 17 points) were unfathomable in the last third, when a loss felt, with numerous great opportunities, the goal, sent from the woodwork or directly into the bellies of the defense lawyers in the event of freedom. The fire (3-4-4, 13 points) actually created more dangerous opportunities throughout the game, even if it was a man than the lions.

Pedro Gallese had an outstanding night in the goal to help the Lions avoid what could otherwise have been an embarrassing loss, and eight parades in Orlando's four -goals in five excursions. Chicago, who had entered the match after submitting the most goals in MLS seven a week ago, stated that he was at home in 2025.

“Our feelings today in a game that we should probably have won under the circumstances,” said Oscar Pareja, head coach of Orlando City, after the game. “But when they saw the entire development of the game, it was a hard rival. After the red card they broke up a lot of density and we couldn't break it up as we wanted. And they were dangerous with a couple that went on the counter. When the game played, we did not play this clarity to define and achieve, despite a few actions, and even twice.

Pedro Gallese contained the setting up of Pareja in the goal behind a baking line by David Brekalo, Robin Jansson, Rodrigo Schlegel and Alex Freeman. The midfield four consisted of Kyle Smith and Cesar Araujo in the center of the midfield with Ivan Angulo and Marco Pasalic on the wings. Luis Muriel served as the wrong 9/no. 10 in the attack behind striker Duncan McGuire.

The match goes out as a point, but the Lions should have received more of it. Chicago defended well in a low block after he lost goalkeeper Chris Brady against a red card in the first half, but Orlando City wasted the chances it created, and frankly did not create enough with the ball or did enough to disassemble the lines of defense.

In the first minute of the game, the hosts made half a chance, transported forward and crossed to the area. Schlegel's clearance was damped and fell on Andrew Gutman. The full -back tried a shot from outside the area, but he was a good goal.

Orlando's first chance came from left in the third minute when Angulo rose and fired. His shot was distracted for a corner. The fire cleared the cross and ended the threat. Three minutes later, Muriel took a pass from Angulo on the final line, kept it in the game and tried an explosion from a narrow angle that Brady was recarching and punched it out for another corner. Orlando had to withdraw to split a chicago transition on the set piece.

The fire achieved almost several times in the 10th minute, with Galeree achieving two large back savings. Philip Zinckernagel cut inside and blew up a shot from 15 meters, where the Gauls fought. It fell to Hugo Cuypers, who turned it back onto the goal, but the Peruvian came up again, and Brekalo then knocked out for a corner.

“I think it was one of the most important and difficult moments in the game,” said Gallese about double rescue. “Especially in the most important minutes, because if you can score there, you can control the game more and put us on the background, so yes, really critical.”

On the following set piece, Sergio Oregel's ball for the MLS goalkeeper Cuypers was beaten to the rear post, but the Golden Boot Leader got under the ball and shot about three or four meters in front of the gate over the bar.

Smith gave Orlando a good opportunity in the 13th minute when he was fouled right in front of the goal. Araujo took the set piece, but shot directly into the wall and wasted the opportunity.

Galsee made a huge top three minutes later. Chicago fired a ball to Jonathan Bamba, who stayed on his head with a well -coordinated run. Bamba put it down and fired, but Gauls made another big rescue in the 16th minute.

Orlando then found McGuire exaggerated in a similar way in the 17th minute. McGuire was not clean in the goal, but it was sent to the right, where he turned and fired far from the left post.

Bamba took a pass from Gutman in the 19th minute and fired, but again Galesen saved his defense. The Cuypers headed a Jonathan Dean Cross in the 27th minute, but the shot was soft and Gauls could go over and made the easy catch and achieved another rescue process.

Muriel almost sent McGuire back through the ball with a slick in the 33rd minute. McGuire took it up and could have shooted, but instead he tried to grasp Jack Elliott to grasp Jack Elliott and lost the ball.

Three minutes later, another good ball found McGuire over the tip, which giggled him just before the box. Brady walked out of his box and contacted McGuire, who stood behind the two backs of the Fire Center. Brady was booked and creates referee Victor Rivas with a penalty. After checking the piece, the red card was, but the foul was located as directly in front of the box. Brady Ging and Bamba was withdrawn from Gregg Berhalter to send the backup goalkeeper Jeff Gal for his MLS debut.

Muriel scored a goal with the following free kick, hit the wall, but did not let his shot go under diving in the 42nd minute.

Orlando had two half chances in added time. Muriel sent a great ball through the area, but Freeman couldn't come to it. Moments later, Angulo sent a shot on the goal, but let him too close to the rescue. A minute later, Muriel shot a long-term shot over the bar and then sent a great backpart ball for Araujo shortly before half-time.

The lions and the fire went goalless during the break, but Chicago's early rule helped Chicago to end the first half with the advantage of possession (58.4%-41.6%), the goals (5-2) and the accuracy (87.4%up to 77.7%). Each team tried a total of nine shots, and Orlando won more corners (3-2).

In the first minutes of the second period, Muriel danced around defender Christopher Cupps. Muriel went to contact in the 47th minute, but it wasn't enough for a punishment.

The Lions sent in two more balls in the 48th and 49th minutes, with Muriel at the end of his cross at the first and brecalo at the end a teammate to choose the second Freeman on the back post.

Orlando gave up almost an embarrassing goal in the 52nd minute. Araujo sent a bad ball to a teammate that was easily taken away by the fire and started the break on the city's defensive. Mauricio Pineda hit a shot from the tip of the box, which hit Jansson and almost found it in the right post. Instead, it hit the outside of the upright and went around one corner. The Lions did not deal well with the corner and had Brian Gutierrez fired over the bar on recycling.

Muriel was once again unable to find a lion colleague with an entrance ball in the 54th minute, and two minutes later Angulo got left and put the ball back into a fire brigade in the box.

In the 57th minute, Pareja was no longer able to create danger against 10-man-chicago in the 57th minute. The Lions couldn't do much with a few corners in the next few minutes before a decent ball found Freeman in the box in the 61st minute. The young full -back got a foot on it, but could not control it in the frame.

The lack of sharpness continued. Ojeda shot out of the long distance in the 62nd minute. BREKALO telegraphed a shot and had it blocked on the box a minute later.

Although Chicago was a man, he almost scored a goal in the 67th minute. Orlando was expropriated when Muriel was pushed down from behind, but Rivas made no call. The piece ended with Chicago won a corner. The lions confused the release on the set piece and they fell in Cuypers who shot on the gate just to see him how Gaurs refused again with an important rescue. A minute later, Galsee Zenckernagel and Cuypers again achieved critical back savings from Orlando City.

“Pedros Solidness has increased at the tournament. Now he was in the game like today when we needed the most,” said Pareja. “If you see the whole and the first part of the first half and we had these actions, Pedro had to save us too. So it is true, he played a great game and when we needed it the most, he appeared.”

The two cruelest chances of the night fell in Orlando in the 75th and 77th minute. Angulo pushed the ball between defenders to bring Ojeda into the goal for the first chance, but the shot of the proven player crashed the left post. Two minutes later, Pasalic finally got an open view of the goal and smashed a shot from Gal, but outside the crossbar. The turn of the ball took the rebound from the game before a surprising Muriel could knock the loose ball.

Elliott received a piece of McGuire in the 78th minute to build a dangerous free kick for Orlando. Ojeda's shot, however, hit the middle parts of one of Chicagos Wall players and wasted the opportunity. Muriel won a foul from Cupps in the 87th minute and waved his teammates on the SET piece. The Colombian then shot over the bar again.

Rivas added only three minutes of stoppage time and the Lions used none of the three. Muriel sent another shot over the bar from outside the plate in the first minute added. The replacement of Dagur Dan Thorhallsson never closed to the goal a minute later.

That was that and the game ended without a goal.

Orlando ended the possession of the ownership (53.3%-46.7%), shots (23-17) and transfer accuracy (85.1%-83.1%). Chicago won more corners (7-6) and put more shots into the goal (8-2).

“Chicago is a good team. They have good players and they play a difficult style and creates many opportunities,” said Gallese. “I think we stood well in these first 30 minutes, and after the map they couldn't really control too much of the game after the map. But we can still perform against a good team tonight.”

The Lions will visit the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Wednesday evening when they start their 2025 US Open Cup campaign. The next MLS -Match from Orlando City will follow the New England Revolution at home on Saturday.
