Vehicle falls to the entrance at Manila Airport and kills 2 people, including a young girl

Manila, Philippines (AP) – A vehicle fell against an entrance at Manila Airport on Sunday morning and left two people dead, including a young girl, said officials.

The Filipino Red Cross said the girl was 4 years old, but Vivencio Hizon Secretary said she was 5 years old.

The other victim was an adult man, said the humanitarian group in a statement.

Three other people were injured in the incident and treated in a hospital, said Hizon.

According to the airport operator, New Naia Infra Co., the driver of the vehicle was in police custody.

Dozens of emergency personnel could be seen at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, who surrounded a black SUV that was rammed into a wall by an entrance. The vehicle was later removed from the location.

The airport operator said that he coordinates with the authorities to examine the incident.
