Trump admin wins a court dispute around VOA reforms; The Kari lake calls it “constitutional victory”

In a significant legal victory for the Trump administration, the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit granted a stay on the order of a lower court who had prescribed the reinstatement of over 1,000 employees (VOA) and the resumption of complete radio operations.

“This is a great victory for President Trump and his articles granted in the Constitution of the United States.

The decision enables the administration to continue their efforts to restructure the USAGM and its connected broadcasters.

“We endeavor to reach the America First Agenda from President Trump, which was always to make our government efficient and at the same time waste, fraud and abuse,” said Lake Fox News Digital.

“Now that we have a cheap decision before the Court of Appeal, we look forward to reaching the plan that we always had. Voa to bring to the 21st century.”

The 2: 1 judgment of the Court of Appeal on Saturday underlined the respect of the executive authority in relation to the federal employment and contractual decisions.

The court found that the district court probably does not agree to the administration's personnel measures and financing decisions, especially with regard to scholarship agreements with non-federal companies such as Radio Free Asia and the Radio networks in the Middle East.

This is followed by Trump's Executive Order (EO) on March 14th (EO), who aimed to reduce the USAGM operations.

“Voice of America has been outside the step for years.

The order led to the administrative vacation of around 1,300 VOA employees and to terminate numerous contracts, which effectively paused the activities of the station for the first time in its 83-year history.

“Unfortunately, the careless legal disputes actually set the ability to rationalize archaic practices and redundant programs at VOA,” Lake told Fox News Digital. “The use of legal guidance has injured the agency and its employees more than they helped.”

Jonathan Turley, Professor of Fox News, Legal Analyst and Professor of Constitutional Law, also announced the news of the decision about X: “The DC Circuit has just published an important decision in favor of the Trump administration, which increased a stay of the decision to terminate contracts and positions at Voice of America.”

The decision on Saturday came when the VOA employees restored access to their computers on Friday after the federal judge Royce Lamberth was decisive on April 22, in favor of the plaintiff's application for an injunction against Trump's EO, against which the administration promptly introduced an appointment.
