In a shocking incident, a 24-year-old pharmacist was beaten to death by unidentified people in Uttar Pradeshs Barabanki on Sunday due to a suspected country dispute, reports the PTI news agency.

A pharmacist was said to be killed in his clinic in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh (HT file).

Around midnight, three men arrived in the Satyendra Vishwakarma clinic and pretended to be customers who need medicine, the police said. When he opened the door, they pressed in and began to attack it.

Vishwakarma, who had slept shortly before, was beaten by the attackers with sticks and rods.

According to the locals, the pharmacist tried to escape, but the attackers chased him down. A local named Vivek Chandra Nag tried to intervene, but he was also attacked.

The police said Vishwakarma was hospitalized, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The attackers fled from the scene after hearing an excitement nearby, civil servants added.

The victim's mother accuses four villagers to plan attacks

The victim's mother, Gangotri Devi, told the police that Vishwakarma cut a land dispute with four villagers-Santlal, Kishore, Rajendra Prasad and Lal Bahadur-over property and trees. She accused her for the death of her son.

Sudhir Kumar Singh, Officer of the House Officer Station (Sho), said the police had submitted a case based on a complaint of the victim's father, Ganga Prasad.

“We ask several people and examine CCTV film material from the clinic. The culprits will soon be arrested,” said Singh.

Vishwakarma comes from Dadia Mau village and has headed his clinic since last year after ending a pharmacy course.

Man who was put to death because of goat takeover

A similar incident occurred in UPS Ballia at the beginning of this week, where a 30-year-old man came to death in the Singhpur district of Singhpur's District in the Singhpur district after a dispute over his goat, the police said on Friday.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening in the Phephana area when the victim Awadhesh and his neighbor got into an argument after the animal encountered the ownership of the latter.

Awadhesh was hit on the head during the argument. He was brought to the district hospital, where he was declared dead by doctors, added civil servants.
