The statistics on the Windsor Police Service Criminal Police show the decline in property crimes for 2025

The Windsor Police published its monthly crime statistics for April with a significant decline in real estate crimes compared to the previous year.

The statistics show a decline in real estate crimes by 16.3 percent this year. A little more than 3,200 (3,209) cases of real estate crimes were reported from January to the end of April, compared to over 3,800 (3,835) cases in the same period in 2024.

In April alone, 797 cases of real estate crime were reported compared to 998 in April 2024.

Despite this decline, the statistics also showed an increase in crimes against people against people for 2025 at 942 reports. From January to April around 2024, 902 crimes against people were reported.

According to the Windsor police, Station 3 and 4 had the highest number of crimes against people in April.

Other violations of the criminal code such as child pornography, violations of the judiciary, non -violent weapons and games and competitions have dropped by 5.5 percent in the previous year.
