Chicago (WLS) – A woman was attacked by several people on the south side of the city, said the Chicago police.

The victim was near a sidewalk in the 5600 block of the S. Wabash Avenue around 3:59 a.m., the police said.

A group of unknown suspicious suspects allegedly turned to the 19-year-old victim and began to attack them, the police said.

One of the suspects supposedly stabbed her while another hit her in her head, the police said.

The victim was brought to a regional hospital with stab wounds to the hands and head. It is expected that she is okay.

Nobody is in custody. CPD Area one Detective.
