Part of the Palmetto Roadway, which is to be renamed the fallen army after the specialists killed in South Korea

Two legislators of the golf coast and the local heads of government will gather together with the residents on Tuesday to honor a fallen military veteran who is named a local road after him.

Specialists of the US Army Nicholas Panipinto was killed in Camp Humphreys in South Korea in November 2019 during a training incident. In honor of his name and service, the legislator in Florida agreed in 2024 to name part of the Highway US 19 in Palmetto “Specialist Nicholas Panipinto Memorial Highway”.

A ceremony, which shows the official naming of the motorway department in the Manatee County, will take place from 9 a.m. on Tuesday between Palm View Road and Terra Cia Road.
