A neighborhood observation meeting took place for the city council's candidates

Meridian, Miss. (WTOK) -a neighborhood movement meeting took place on Monday evening in the New Life Community Church because all candidates of the city council were present to discuss crime and security and how they would fight if they were chosen.

This meeting was that the community was present and how every candidate addresses the thoughts and concerns of the city about the return of Meridian about his earlier fame.

Pastor Ralph Henson from the New Life Community Church says that everyone had big points and the community and the city is passionate.

“I was very excited to hear these people speak. We heard their points of view, and the questions and interactions show that people are really concerned. But I was pleased to hear the different ideas. Of course they wanted to sell a little, but we learned some different things from them.

Anyone who came from the community asked questions about the security and future of this city.
