Jordan Cox suffered an injury fright out against Somerset during a century

Jordan Cox suffered an injury concern when he celebrated his latest English call with a century for essex on the third day of her Rothesay County Championship Match with Somerset in Taunton.

The 24-year-old fell into the ground and clutched his left side directly above his hip after he had taken a quick single from Jack Leach to put him on 99. He felt the same area while beating and remained depressed when he was treated before he was helped on his feet.

Cox just stayed in the wind for long enough to reach a border in front of Leach and reach his bin, and at this point he was immediately retired. He did not accept any other part of the ESSES Second Innings and was replaced in the field when Somerset beat.

A broken finger forced Cox to Miss England's tour to New Zealand. On Friday he was called back to the squad for the test game against Zimbabwe this month.

The English squad is expected to lead to the four -day test in front of a training camp in Loughborough in London next week in front of a training camp in Loughborough, which will be played on the Trent Bridge on May 22nd to 25th.
