Woman who was killed in the country accident of the Idaho district

The following is a press release from the Idaho State Police.

On Saturday, May 3, at 11:58 a.m., the Idaho state police reacted to a death with two vehicles on the US Highway 12 near Milepost 161, about a mile west of the Lochsa Lodge, in Idaho County.

A 60-year-old man from Moines, Washington, drove a white international box truck 2021 in the US12. During the negotiation of a right curve, the driver crossed the double yellow-painted barrier line and entered the trail in a west direction.

A 59-year-old man from Middleton, Idaho, drove a 2023 Hyundai Palisade in a west direction. There was a 54-year-old passenger from Middleton, Idaho, who rode in the back seat of the Hyundai. The two vehicles collided at the curve.

Air ambulance and local emergency services reacted to the scene in which the 54-year-old woman had succumbed to her injuries. General belts were worn by everyone who was involved in the collision.

Traffic in the USA 12 was blocked in both directions for two hours when a lane was opened for alternating traffic. The crash will still be clarified at this time and will probably be continued until tomorrow morning until the early afternoon.
