Tampa man who was injured in the crash to flee over 100 miles per hour in front of soldiers: FHP

Hillsborough County, Fla – A man from Tampa was injured in the early Sunday morning of a crash of Gandy Bridge after trying to flee from soldiers at speeds over 100 km / h, said Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

The driver Brandon Ramnarine, 31, from Tampa, was accused of flinging at high speed and escaping.

A soldier on patrol along the Gandy Bridge around 1 a.m. saw Ramnarine in a Toyota Supra, who, according to a FHP report, with a speed zone of 93 miles per hour in a speed zone of 55 miles per hour.

The soldier tried a traffic stop, but Ramnarine fled the bridge at a speed of more than 100 miles per hour, said FHP officials.

Ramnarine did not suffer life -threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for medical care.

A passenger in the vehicle, a 32-year-old Tampa man, also did not suffer life-threatening injuries and was also taken to a hospital.
