Kentucky's Jayden Quaintance with the long-awaited schedule for returning from ACL injury

The Kentucky Wildcats were on a tear in the transfer portal this spring. It cannot be denied that head coach Mark Pope made a mission on the way this low season, and he does everything in his power to improve the Sweet Sixteen team from last year.

In a Powerhouse program like Kentucky, Pope has considerable resources -especially in the NIL department. This financing is well used in this portal season, since it is generally assumed that Kentucky leads the nation in zero support – and with a big lead. If that is true, Pope and his employees earn great recognition for how they used it.

“I am not sure whether someone will touch Kentucky's Nil salary statement this season … not even Byu,” wrote Jeff Goodman.

One of the first major additions that Pope was secured out of the portal was a five-star-plus view Jayden Quaintance. Quaintance was originally committed to Kentucky, but after John Calipari's departure, he decided not to return.

“We always liked Kentucky. He was committed there before John Calipari went to Arkansas. That is why we ended up in the state of Arizona. We always hoped that they would come back and recruit him,” his father told ESPN.

Last season, Quaintance suffered an ACL tear at the end of the year. Until recently there was no confirmed recreational bar for the talented center. This changed on Saturday when Aaron Torres offered an update about rehab and the return of Quaintance.

“My understanding is that apart from somewhat surprising in mid-August, he will return to the court and will be ready for 5-to-5 in September,” said Torres.

This is an enormous development for the wildcats, since this season will play an important role before it is probably declared for the NBA design. The goal is to make him completely available for Kentucky's start of the season.
