Winnetka crash: Raziyeh Sigary, Sediqeh Samadi as pedestrian identified on Church Road, Meadow Road; Child injured

Winnetka, Ill. (WLS) – Officials identified both victims who were killed in a suburban accident in northern cities on Friday.

The crash took place on Friday at 6 p.m. near the Church Road and the Meadow Road in Winnetka, shared the Sheriff of the Cook County.

Two female pedestrians were on the street with a child in a stroller when a vehicle met them, the sheriff's office said. Both women died, officials said. The child was taken to a hospital in a critical condition.

On Saturday one of the victims was identified by the 37 -year -old Sediqeh Samadi.

Raziyeh Sigary, 58, was identified as the second woman who was killed by the medical examiner during the crash.

Officials did not say whether or how the deceased women and the injured child are related.

The driver of the vehicle and a passenger were also taken to a hospital in good condition, officials said.

The investigators investigate the crash that there is no indication of a foul, although it is still unclear whether the driver's error or a mechanical or medical problem caused the crash.
