Crash County County: 2 women who were identified by car and were killed

The two women who were killed when a car collapsed in her in the north suburb of Winnetka last Friday evening were identified.

The crash left two women dead and a child in a critical condition.

What we know:

A woman was quickly identified as Sediqeh Samadi, 37, from the office of the medical examiner Cook County.

On Sunday, the agency also identified Raziyeh Sigary (58) as the other victim killed.

Neighbors said that the pedestrians who died in the accident were mother and daughter. They said that the mother was visiting Iran and helped her grandson to go to babysitting, who was critical of the child on Saturday.

According to the Cook County's Sheriff, the crash occurred on Church Road near Meadow Road at around 6 p.m.

The car drove south on Church Road when the two women and the child met, who was in a stroller at the time.

The authorities said that the driver might have suffered a medical episode before the crash and there was “no indication of a bad game”.

The driver and a passenger in the car were also brought to a local hospital with injuries who were not life -threatening, the police said.
