Stars get 9 seconds in, never look back into the 6-2 game 5 against the avalanche

Dallas-Wyatt Johnson only achieved the opening ceremony for nine seconds in the game, and the Dallas stars never looked back when they handled 6-2 in game 5 with the Colorado Avalanche to take over a 3-2 lead in the playoff series of the first round.

In the last minute of the first period of the first period of Thomas Harley and the former AV Mikko Rantannen, Dallas added a little more than a minute in the second time to achieve a lead of three goals.

Artturi Lehkonen and Nathan Mackinnon would both find the back of the network in the middle of the second to briefly narrow the deficit on a single goal, but a power game from Stars brought Johnson's second goal of the night. A Mason Marchment goal with 88 seconds to play in the second scored Dallas again by three goals.

Roope Hintz's empty networker closed the gate for Dallas.

Rantannen, who only had one point and a minus-4 plus/minus in the first four games of the season, had two templates on his goal on Monday evening.

The series returns to the Ball Arena for Game 6 on Thursday.
