Man who is charged with Fatal Harrisburg Hit-and-Run: Police

A man was charged with crimes after the police believed that on Friday evening he hit and killed a pedestrian in the Paxton Street on Friday evening.

The 50 -year -old Guillermo Cervantes was arrested after the police found that he was the driver of the vehicle, who met a pedestrian in the Block 1900 Paxton Street around 9 p.m. on May 2 at around 9 p.m.

Cervantes, says the police and then fled out of the scene.

The victim, an adult man, did not react, but breathing, the police previously said to Pennlive. He died shortly afterwards in a local hospital.

Cervantes was charged, including vehicle accidents with a death, not properly licensed, not to stop and provide help, report a crash and not stop at a red light, the court file said.

Cervantes' deposit was set at 50,000 US dollars and he was hired before a preliminary hearing on May 20 in Dauphin County prison.
