What happened in season 2, episode 3 of 'The Last of Us'?

The episode dealt with the Fallout of Joel's death.

Tommy (Gabriel Luna), Joel's brother, sees his body and asks him, Sarah, Joel's daughter, who died in the pilot episode, his love.

Ellie wakes up in the hospital and remembers Joel's death by Abby (Kaitlyn Dever).

She has an interaction with Gail (Catherine O'Hara), Jackson's resident therapist about strange words that Joel said to Gail before he died: “I saved her,” he said.

Months later, a town hall meeting is called to vote on Ellie's proposal, to avenge Joel's death. They found that Washington Liberation Front (WLF) was based in Seattle behind. The Council coordinates Ellie's proposal, but it decides to go with Dina anyway.

On the way to Seattle, Ellie stops in Joels Gravesit. They make it to Seattle until the end of the episode – and they also get a feeling for their opponents.

At the beginning of the episode, the audience sees a faction of the Seraphite, a religious group. Ellie and Dina later pass them – and everyone was killed by the WLF.

Certainly a fight against Dina and Ellie is ahead of themselves
