Four killed, including two children, in the solo vehicle crash on 40 motorway

Four people, including two children, were killed in a pickup accident along the 40 motorway near Newberry Springs in the early Sunday.

According to Shane Hernandez, the California Highway Patrol Officer Shanandez, the fatal wreck for solo vehicles took place at around 7:45 a.m. along the motorway 40 between Hector and Newberry Springs. It was a Dodge Ram pickup.

The truck left the street and overturned CHP protocols. At least one person was partially ejected from the vehicle.

“There are four confirmed deaths,” said Hernandez. “It is believed that two of the deaths are young people.”

No further details were available because the examination remained in the early stages.
