A white woman who seemed to spin a racist slur with a black child has collected over 600,000 US dollars for herself on a donation side.

The video of the Minnesota woman, who has been identified as Shiloh Hendrix since then, began on social media after she had described the 5-year-old on Monday, April 28, on a playground in Rochester, according to NBC News.

The man who records the video who has identified himself as Sharmake Omar told the outlet that he knows the boy and his family and that the child is in autism spectrum.

In the video you can hear Omar how she is confronted with Hendrix, who apparently holds her own child, after she supposedly used the slur. Hendrix, who uses the N-word several times in this video, calls:

When Omar Hendrix asks if she believes that this calls this “a small child” as the N-word, she replies: “If it is as he will behave.”

After the torture had become viral, Hendrix has set up a donation page for herself, which she entitled “Help me protect my family” on Givesendgo. In the description of the page, she claimed that she is now in a “bad situation”.

“I recently had a child from the diaper bag of my 18 -month -old son in a park.

She closed the news by asking for funds “to protect my family” and possibly “move”.

Hendrix's donation goal was originally set for $ 50,000, but has been increased to 1 million US dollars since this first amount per local news channel Kimt3. The fundraising campaign has collected over 624,000 US dollars from Sunday, May 4th.

In an update on the side, Hendrix expressed gratitude for the “overwhelming support” that she and her family received, and explained: “I have never so frightened and yet calmed down in my life.”

The “Give” page was flooded with people who expressed racist beliefs and sympathies in public notes who accompanied their donations, which prompted Crowdfunding service The Washington Post.

In a statement on the outlet, Jacob Wells, the founder and managing director of Givesendgo, said the company “the personal views or actions of individual campaign organizers or their supporters did not support or tolerate, and we do not control the motivations of the donor”.
