Lawyer Matthew J. Jowanna has been practicing law for more than 30 years and has specialized in cases of personal injury since 1994. Jowanna acquired his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in radio and mass communication at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He then received his juris Doctor (JD) connection at Nova Southeastern University in FT. Lauderdale and graduation summa cum laude (with the highest awards) in the top 2% of his legal school class. Jowanna's first job outside the legal faculty was recognizable for an insurance defense company that helped him that the insurance defense was not where he wanted to spend his careers.

“It is the opposite of what I'm doing now,” he explains. “I realized that I was on the wrong side of the fence, and I would prefer to be on the plaintiff page to help someone in his claim against a large insurance company.” He says he appreciates the knowledge that he gained through the vision of the other side, and there have been additional insights into working with customers who are against insurance companies.

Afterwards she acquired her degree in Juris Doctor (JD), Cum Laude, from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.

During the legal faculty, Haber received the book award for the highest grade in process practice. She was also the editor of the Executive Articles for the Uf Journal of Law & Public Policy And was a certified legal intern at the public prosecutor. It is licensed for the law in Florida, Virginia and in the District of Columbia.

While Haber initially started as a process lawyer, after a few years, she decided to concentrate on estate planning and estate. “What I love about the estate planning,” she says, “is that it is something that everyone needs, and yet it is so easy to relax.

Haber adds that she encourages people to plan in advance and not to be afraid of the process. “People avoid it or dig their heads in the sand because they don't understand what it means,” she says.
