A man is dead, although he is supported by a good Samaritan after he had plunged his SUV into a pole early Sunday morning in the southwest of Philadelphia, according to a spokesman for the police authority.

The 29-year-old driver grated the 7800 block of Penrose-Ferry Road shortly before 2 a.m. on May 4th when he lost control when he plunged his 2016 Nissan Rogue into a concrete column, the police said.

But as the police said, the good Samaritan went before the officials came on site.

The driver, who was pulled out of the burning car, was taken to a nearby hospital by doctors, where he was declared dead shortly before 2:30 a.m., the police said.
