The father of the teenager, who was fatally shot by the Cincinnati police, is said to kill Officer with his car | Ohio

The disturbed father of an 18-year-old allegedly shot a police officer in Cincinnati with his car less than 24 hours after the death of his son.

The city of Ohio shocked the double murder because it concerns persistent concerns about the participation of the American law enforcement authorities in fatal encounters with citizens.

The incident began last Thursday with the death of Ryan Hinton (18), of whom the police said he seemed to put a gun on an officer when he fled with three other people from a stolen vehicle.

The body cameras published by the police shows an official who screams: “He has a weapon! He has a gun! On your right! On your right!” The blurry and unclear footage then shows that the hinton appears between two dumpcontainers, and another officer fires several shots and kills Hinton.

A weapon was later recovered. It hadn't been fired.

When Hinton's family looked at the footage at a meeting with the police, they were disturbed, especially the young man's father.

“Ryan Hinton's family, including Ryan's father, was present at the meeting and they were understandably disturbed when they looked at the bodycam video,” said the family's lawyers. “After the meeting with the police authority, Ryan left Hinton's father in his own vehicle, and that was the last time we heard from him until he learned something about the tragic incident with a law enforcement officer who worked a traffic detail near the University of Cincinnati.”

This incident occurred on Friday afternoon when a police officer – who was not yet known publicly – occurred by a car when he led the traffic to a crossing.

The police identified the driver of this vehicle as the 38-year-old father of the teenager, Rodney Hinton. He was later charged with severe murder. It was not assumed that the murdered policeman was involved in the murder of Ryan Hinton.

“This is a terrible tragedy on both sides … This family has lost her son and this police officer has lost his life,” said the family lawyer of Hinton, Michael Wright, the Cincinnati Enquirer.
