NBA Mock Draft predicts that the former Uconn star falls late in the first round

One of the most fascinating views that enter the NBA design of 2025 is the former Uconn Huskies star Liam McNeeley.

Some analysts consider him a potential top 15 election, others say that he could all fall out of the lottery together.

If the design gets closer, we should better understand where McNeeley could be selected.

In a recent bill, however, the wing was selected late in the first round and signaled that McNeeley could fall.

Sam Vecenie from The Athletic recently published its updated Mock design, which is selected by the Utah Jazz (via Minnesota Timberwolves).

Vecenie justifies McNeeley in the draft by pointing out that there are still some serious strangers about the kind of players he will be on the next level.

The two main concerns of the analyst are the durability of his jump shot and his questionable role on the next level.

“McNeeley scored an average of 14.5 points, but only shot 38 percent out of the field and 32 percent compared to 3 this year despite a call that makes them believe that he is a serious shooter … He often played on the ball when he has the best role – is from the ball,” wrote Vecenie.

Nevertheless, McNeeley has the potential to be a solid NBA player, and the analyst agrees.

“The NBA teams love McNeeley's competitiveness and its character. There is a real conviction that a team, as soon as he comes into the right role, returns to the elite level that was in the high school.”

McNeeley's early success on the next level could depend on the team and the situation into which he was drafted into.

Therefore, it will be so interesting for Huskies fans to follow the Draft Stock when the big night approaches.
