The welfare check leads to death examinations in Clarksville

Nashville, Tenn. (WSMV) – A call for social examination led to the Clarksville police examined a death after a body was found in a forest area.

On Sunday morning, around 11:13 a.m., the police were called to Daniel Street and Laurent Lane to get a welfare check. When the police arrived, they found a person who was dead at the scene.

The police said detectives with the Special Operations murder unit answered and examined the circumstances in connection with death.
