NBA Great excludes Dwyane Wade from the exclusive Geographic Club

The NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade should not even be mentioned in an interview, but Tim Hardaway made sure.

While he appeared in Gilbert Arenas podcast, Hardaway was asked about the three best point guards from Chicago. He listed Isiah Thomas, Derrick Rose and himself.

This is a solid list, but it is what Hardaway said before it was surprising. Without a request, he decided to throw calf shadows. As a shooter that calves should not even have been under discussion about Point Guards.

“First of all, Dwyane Wade is not from Chicago,” said Hardaway. “He comes from the suburb. He does not come from Chicago. Chicago comes from the south side or the west side.

Hardaway, Thomas and Rose all get more chicago punch than calves because they grew up in the city. Hardaway and Rose both played a high school ball in the city center, while Thomas played in a private school outside the city. Wade spent his preparatory career at the Richards High School in Oak Lawn.

Nevertheless, Wade should not be excluded because he grew up a few miles outside the city.
