Races of the Nascar Cup series at Texas: Live updates, highlights, ranking

The NASCAR CUP series will go to Texas for the second and last time this season with the Wurth 400 on the Texas Motor Speedway.

Texas is a benchmark for teams as one of the several 1.5-mile tracks of the series throughout the season, especially after they have come out of the break and have fulfilled the chaotic race in Talladega.

Carson Hocevar is on the shelf for the first time in his career as a NASCAR CUP series, after completing a blazing round in the qualification of the qualification on May 3.

Austin Cindric won the previous race in Talladega to achieve Team Penske the first victory of the 2025 season.

Michael McDowell took two tires on the last pit stop of the race and went to second place and defeated Ryan Blaney on the Pit Road.

Jesse Love replied and emitted from his second career start of the Nascar Cup series. This will probably blow up the strategy and change the strategy for drivers who had not yet come under the green flag.

The seventh caution of the race falls after a wild accident in which Bubba Wallace turns to Noah Gragson and AJ Allmendher, Chad Finchum, Joey Logano and Alex Bowman collected.

Wallace hit the wall in the back. Then Logano opened to start the crash.

William Byron connected himself to Cole Custer in Pit -Gasse during caution, but still won the race on the Pit Road to take over the lead. Byron has damaged the right front fender and the splinter.

Kyle Larson won the second stage of the race under caution for the tire output for Chris Buescher.

Chris Buescher had a flat tire, but was able to retire him back to the pit lane to avoid the caution.

However, one of the tire shells landed on the track and produced the caution.

Todd Gilliland stayed outside during caution and has the lead when we return to green with 34 laps in the second stage.

Kyle Larson quickly took the lead with Ryan Preece second, Tyler Reddick third and Polesitter Carson Hocevar fourth.

Josh Berry drove away from the field, but he pushed into the ringing traffic. He ran towards the high line, hit the bump in curve 4 brisco earlier and turned from the lead.

Berry hit the outer wall, but he will be able to continue, but it is almost certainly out of the race for victory. Berry damaged the rear bumper.

Pit stops come for the entire field.

Bell had a hard sequence with a security injury, then had to pull down the pit street again and asked to connect his air hose again. His team could not connect it all the way and had to call him again to fully attach it.

Bell is currently achieving 29th place at the restart.

Chase Briscoe spread three, hit a small bump in curve 4, loosened and turned through the front fretch to produce the third caution of the race.

Briscoe typed Riley Herbst and the outer wall, but can continue.

Josh Berry won the race on the Pit Road and took over the leadership of the Nascar Texas race into the second stage. Berry has a win this season, the first race of this variety this season, in Las Vegas on a 1.5-mile route.

Austin Cindric, fresh from a victory in Talladega, took the lead at the beginning of the first stage and kept the stage victory before caution after Denny Hamlin's car opened in flames.

Denny Hamlins No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota is on fire. He drove along his back after turning through curves 1 and 2. Hamlin. Hamlin lost the strength in the front route and shot out of the car exhaust.

Hamlin was able to get out of the car safely, but his 21-race stripes, which was completed on the tour round, is over.

Now we will see pit stops that could turn the stage and possibly turn the race around. Denny Hamlin stayed outside and will take the lead at the restart.

The drivers have to lift the gas lever through curves 1 and 2, which have 20 degrees banking and find a way, not to raise in rounds 3 and 4 that have 24 degrees banking.

The grooves in Texas seem to go on the middle lane for the race, but not much higher than two grooves. The thinking process, if a car drives outside the gray area, could get into trouble.
