Ex-leader of proud boy thanks Trump for pardoning at Mar-A-Lago encounter

Enrique Tarrio, the former leader of the proud boy, said that on Saturday evening he would personally thank President Trump for the issue of a forgiveness that the 22-year-old prison sentence he had in connection with the attack on January 6, 2021.

The gratitude of Mr. Tarrio's gratitude came in a short but extraordinary encounter with Mr. Trump in Mar-A-Lago. The President's private club and the President's apartment in Palm Beach, Florida, were invited to Mr. Tarrio and his mother Zuny Duarte to eat by one of his members on the property.

According to a high-ranking administrative officer who was not entitled to discuss the episode publicly, the club member Mr. Tarrio and his mother presented Mr. Trump when the president went to a table on the terrace through the main room in Mar-A-Lago.

In interviews, Mr. Tarrio and Ms. Duarte said that they spoke to Mr. Trump for about 10 minutes, and remembered that he told them he was the opinion that his supporters, which had arisen from the Capitol attack, were abused.

A spokesman for the White House did not respond to an e -mail that was looking for a comment.

Mr. Tarrio said that he announced Mr. Trump that the president saved his life by including the lump sum of grace to all almost 1,600 people who were charged with January 6th.
