Highlights: Oscar Piatri leads McLaren 1-2 after the enthusiastic Miami Grand Prix

Oscar Piatri expanded his lead at the head of the Formula 1 classification after letting a dominant McLaren 1-2 home in the Miami Grand Prix, who came after a titanical struggle for the lead with Max Verstappen.

The Dutch led by Pole from the starting bar with the starter of the first row of Lando Norris through the opening rounds. The McLaren driver lost several places.

It was Piatri to start a challenge, and in the first 14 rounds he made several attempts to pass the reigning world champion and finally prevailed when Verstappen ran deep after a robust defense in round 1.

Norris also set off after several of his own attempts, and with the forecast rain, which did not materialize, Piatri managed the gap to demand a hat trick with victories on the jumper and extend its points over Norris to 16.

Mercedes' George Russell hit Verstappen to the last step of the podium after benefiting from a virtual security car with a medium breed.
