Reporter offers injury update about Cavaliers Star Darius Garland

Darius Garland has not played in a game for Cleveland Cavaliers since April 23.

After DG missed the last two games of the opening round of the NBA Playoffs, she was also excluded for game 1 of the semi -finals of the Eastern Conference.

At the beginning of Cleveland's game 1 against the Indiana Pacers, NBA provided an update about what he heard about Garland's status and injury via the TNT reporter Jared Greenburg.

“The good news that was told is that there is no structural damage. However, Garland continues to fight significant Swelling and pain. He will stay daily and could play in game 2 on Tuesday. I spoke to him briefly and he is confident that he will be able to play on Tuesday, “said the secondary reporter.

Although Garland could play against the Pacers in Cleveland's next Matchup, it sounds like it will not be 100 percent and still has to cope with the pain.

Greenburg continued: “If this were the regular season, Garland would probably be closed for another week to two weeks to prevent the toe. [their foot] With confidence. “

DG had an average of 24.0 points, 7.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds, while he shot 51 percent of the floor and 41 percent behind the arch.
