Cav's all-star Darius Garland 'confidently' about playing in game 2 despite the toe injury

Darius Garland missed the last two games of the Cleveland Cavalier 'Sweep of the Miami Heat in the first round of the Eastern Conference. The All-Star-Point Guard suffered a toe injury, which kept him away for half of the series and unfortunately was transferred to the second round for Cleveland. Garland was explained shortly before the tip of game 1 against the Indiana Pacers.

However, Garland felt good enough to give Jared Greenberg from TNT a personal update about his status. He told the secondary reporter that he was “confident” that he would return for game 2.

“(Garland) will stay daily and could play in game 2 on Tuesday,” said Greenberg in his injury update in the first quarter of game 1.

The Cavs hope that Garland will return as soon as possible. The Pacers form a dangerous offensive machine, and Cleveland needs the entire creation that it can raise to keep up. Donovan Mitchell is able to go at a certain point in time, but Garland, who aggressively shares the load with the load, has played a major role in the overwhelming success of the team this season.

Garland, who made his second all-star team this year, achieved an average of 20.6 and 6.7 templates per competition, while performing in a career high of 75 games.
