Instagram adds the video editing app “Edits” new functions

It has only been released for a week, and Instagram has already available its first update round for its Edits video editing app with other fonts, more language fakes, simplified processing and more in the app.

As you can see in this overview, you now have a number of additional language and font options to choose from to adapt your changes to your processing.

According to Meta:

“We now have 125 fonts so that you can add personality to your text and meet your style. You can also add depth and emotions with 15 effects to choose from.”

Many written options and many vocal effects that you can play with in-stream.

Meta also added a new one “Use everyone” Option in the editing suite so that it becomes easier Use filters, effects, transitions and adjustments to all of your clips at the same time to “speed up your creative process”.

Edited updates

In addition to the many effects and machining tools that are already available in the app, these must be downloaded from the app without IG watermarks, including multi-channel tracking, expanded video effects and the ability to download your clips.

All of these tools are at least available free of charge for the time being, where Instagram provides these new tools for the largest possible audience. However, it was also proposed that it may have to calculate for future additions, in particular for advanced AI-based options, which require significant calculation.

But at the moment you can download and use these functions immediately, and Instagram says that you will create updates like this weekly introduction to create the best video editing tool.

Will it be better than capcut? Well, it probably depends on your specific use. But it is probably worth it either way.

Edits is now available both in the App Store and in the Google Play Store.
