Houston Texans will receive an injury update on Star WR on Sunday

The Houston Texans will probably have Dell without a broad receiver tank throughout 2025. Dell suffered a kneecap and torn ligaments in a week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

In 14 games for the Texans in the 2024 season, he won 51 receptions for 667 yards and three touchdowns.

In his first two seasons, Dell was a reliable destination for quarterback CJ Stroud, and his absence is noticed.

However, General Manager Nick Caserio seemed to be prepared for this result when she designed two wide recipients on day 2.

With Dell Out, the Rookie Wideouts Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel will play a major role on the offensive of the Texans. Houston will also rely on the commercial acquisition Christian Kirk and his number one Wideout, Nico Collins.

Higgins and Noel had productive seasons in the state of Iowa in 2024. Higgins had 87 receptions for 1,183 yards and nine touchdowns, while Noel had 80 receptions for 1,194 yards and eight touchdowns.

Houston made it into the division round in two seasons, but they want to take the next step in 2025. Stroud and the Texans are ready for a competitive season, but will probably be without a talented offensive weapon in Dell.
