All lanes were reopened on the I-65 South by Kennedy Bridge after the second semi-car crash of the day

Louisville, Ky. (Wave) – All lanes have opened again on the I -65 South after a Semi crashed for the second time on Sunday, May 4th.

According to Trimarc, the accident occurred at around 6.55 p.m. on the I-65 South in front of the hospital curve, and no other vehicle was involved.

This incident follows an earlier semi -accident in the same area that took place on Sunday morning, which the vehicle hung from the side of the Kennedy Bridge.

The Louisville Metro police authority stated that preliminary investigations by today's crash showed that the Semi driver lost control of the vehicle and had been repaired a barrier that had been repaired today due to the collision.

The driver suffered a minor injuries and was taken to the Jewish hospital by Ems.

LMPD said the alleys were reopened around 9 p.m.
