Mississippi Aquarium published 10 endangered turtles in the Mississippi Sound

Biloxi, Miss. (WLOX) – The Mississippi Aquarium published 10 Kemps Ridley Turtles on the Mississippi sound on Monday afternoon.

These turtles are a critically endangered species. They were brought to the aquarium last winter after they have been switched cold, and many of them fought against pneumonia, bone infections and frosties.

The aquarium rehabilitated the animals and brought them back home.

“It is not a privilege that we take it easy. They are very endangered and very charismatic,” said Alexa Delaune, Vice President of Mississippi Aquarium, Vice President Veterinary Services. “Many people love sea turtles and can never see a sea turtle in real life, but we have the privilege of taking care of them every day. We love them, love the ocean and want to be the best administrators of the world and help all types that need our help.

The publication was Taylor Swift topic, whereby each turtle was named after one of the artist's songs.
