The police in West Valley City offers 10,000 US dollars reward for information about cold cases

West Valley City, Utah-Zum three-year anniversary of a murder in West Valley City, offers a good deal for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

On May 5, 2022, 45-year-old Pete Ulibarri was shot at a drive-by shooting near 3500 p. 6400 West. The West Valley City Police Department said that the suspects were over past the house, made a U -turn, slowed down in front of the house and then fired several shots. According to the WVCPD, Ulibarri was in a vehicle in the entrance when he was shot.

The police said they believe that the shootout in the residence was connected to gangs and was intended for another person. They said Ulibarri had no gang affiliation and was an innocent viewer who was the victim.

WVCPD said that the investigators are still pursuing all the clues in connection with the case, but they need the help of the public. They offer a reward of 10,000 US dollars.

“No housings were recovered, and there were only limited video recordings of the suspicious vehicle, which seems to be a Honda insight,” said the Utah Department of Public Safety on a website for Ulibarri's Cold Case.
