Georgia men are charged with Walton County for Walton County for crime disputes

Walton County, Florida (WMBB) – The authorities burden two Georgia men after a series of burglaries and an armed robbery in Walton County.

According to a press release, the Walton County's sheriff received several reports on car break -ins in Miramar Beach on April 20.

The authorities said that they quickly reacted to the reports and developed the areas around the burglaries, reinforced patrols and the vehicle descriptions of the suspect.

From Wednesday evening, April 23, to Thursday morning, April 24, the authorities received reports on vehicle break -ins on a parking space in front of Chat Holley and 331 s as well as burglaries along the Highway 98 Corridor West to Miramar Beach.

The authorities said that all burglaries from April 19th to 20th and 23rd to April 24th to the same “Smash and Grab” motif fit how the suspects broke the windows of the closed vehicles.

During one of the burglaries that took place in the parking lot opposite North Beach Social, a firearm was stolen.

On April 24 at 1:15 a.m., the authorities reacted to numerous 911 calls after a shootout took place outside of the Holiday Road in Miramar Beach. The victim had been shot after he had been robbed by a person with a gun held, which corresponded to the description of one of the suspects of the burglaries of the vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non -life -threatening injuries by a sergeant of a sheriff in Walton County. During the transport of the victim to the hospital, the Sergeant received the description of the suspect from the victim.

The authorities said that their criminal analysts, patrol members and investigators had identified a black Toyota Corolla who fled the minute after the shootout and followed the suspicious vehicle north.

The search lasted the early morning until around 11:15 a.m. when the car was stopped in Cook County, Georgia. The MEPs of the Cook County sheriff arrested three people, two of whom were now charged for crimes.

The 18-year-old wisdom of Hughey and 19-year-old Darrick Darnell Jennings are charged with great theft of a firearm and an armed slump. Hughey and Jennings are waiting for the delivery from Georgia back to Walton County.

A third suspect is properly identified and additional fees are expected.
