Details appear when suspects appeared in court in crimes in the Far North Side – NBC Chicago

The 19-year-old Tymarion Averyhart, the suspect, who had been charged with sexual assault and burglaries on the Far North Side of Chicago in the past few months, was released on Sunday.

A judge ordered Averyhart to stay behind bars and called him a “danger to women everywhere”.

The state claims that Averyhart had sexually attacked two women and broke the houses of the victims over five months in incidents.

Officials said Averyhart broke into the apartment of a woman in the 6200 block of North Bell on December 18 and stole a ID and a social security card.

The state said its crimes then only completed sexual attacks eight days later when he broke into another unit in the same building on December 26th. The police kept a woman at the Knife Point there and attacked her sexually.

Averyhart is accused of returning to the first apartment in January to steal a Playstation and leave a used condom before leaving.

He is also accused of performing a second sexual assault on May 1st. The state said he had taken precautions with an escort, and when it arrived, he supposedly stopped at the knife and attacked them sexually on the gangway of a residential building.

This victim and a witness went to the police, and CPD arrested Averyhart near the scene.

The DNA, which was found in the victim, was a match with the first victim. The state said that he had positively identified Averyhart as the man who is responsible for both sexual attacks.

The police said Averyhart still had the things in his backpack at the time of his arrest.
