Detroit (wxyz) – A woman from Detroit faces several crimes about her participation in an accident in which a husband and a woman were killed.

It happened on Friday evening on the west side of the city in Fenkell and Evergreen. The couple leaves five children.

“They were authentic. As a pastor, I see the specialist all the time, and it gave me sensitivity when I come across authentic Christians. They were real business.” Pastor -Semmeal Thomas.

Pastors Thomas, Mark van Andel and Phil Carr knew Kwasi and Elizabeth Agbottah for almost two decades. The couple died in a local hospital after he was hit by an SUV last Friday when he was waiting at a bus stop.

“I just collapsed”, “ Dwan Dandrige, founder of black leaders Detroit, was a close friend of the Agbottah family. “And I don't know if I collapsed it as much for Kwasi and Elizabeth as for their five children.”

“This is the most devastating part of it. They were so intended to love and train their children.” Pastor van Andel said.

The terms and conditions, which originally came from Texas and the Carolinas, came to Detroit for the first time almost 20 years ago and planted roots in Brightmoor, where they worked and served in various ministries.

“They looked at urban missionaries, and so they were on a mission and wanted to overlooked an overlooked, overlooked, overlooked.” Said Pastor Carr.

“We could have been the poorest postcode in the state of Michigan, and at that time I would even imagine against other places in the United States. So that someone was deliberately coming here, it was really a testimony to their obedience to what they called for God,” said Pastor Thomas.

“You actually decided not to have a vehicle so that you could walk through the streets and take the bus to be present with people in the community that we don't do if we get into a car and drive around,” said Pastor van Andel.

Her friends often secure donations for the Conditions, just to learn the couple who lived so openly, they would give away other families in greater need.

“Some of me said:” Arrghhh !! Ya will use it, “said Dandridge.

“When Covid held Hit, Kwasi did an apprenticeship in the neighborhood. He was a teacher and our church received a scholarship to finance devices. So I said: 'Kwasi, you need a computer to be able to set up this educational matter.” We have set it up with a laptop with a laptop. To ensure that people had access to things, “said Pastor van Andel.

In the late Monday, Dejah Berry was accused of four crimes in connection with the accident that led the life of the Conditions (two cases of ruthless driving that caused death and caused two charges of the driving license while the license was suspended, revoked or denied what caused death). According to reports, she became black as she is behind the steering wheel. It is recorded on a bond of 50,000 US dollars.

“She knows that she shouldn't have been out there, but because she opposed these rules that are available to prevent such things are dead.” The deputy prosecutor Steve Vincent said.

“I prayed for her this morning,” said Pastor Thomas.

“It is a severe weight to stop for her. I hope that she has support to deal with it, to process and maintain forgiveness,” said Pastor van Andel.
