The last of us episode 4: What should know about Isaac

WArning: This post contains spoiler for episode 4 of The last of us Season 2.

Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Dina (Isabela Merced) may have made it to Seattle, but it is clear that they were not aware of how much they have to do on arrival in the city. There are not only hordes of infections, but also the continued war between the Washington Liberation Militon Group (WLF) and the religious cult, which is known as seraphites (or as the wolves call them, the scars) transformed the streets of Seattle into a violent battlefield.

As we experience in Episode 4, one of the people in the center is this struggle The last from US part II Video game), the ruthless leader of the WLF, who keeps an uncompromising attitude of how the seraphite should be treated. We see that this attitude exposes in a scene based on a sequence from the game, in which Isaac brutally tortures a captured scar before shooting it into his head when he mocked it at the number of people that are transferred from the WLF to the seraphites.

In the game, Isaac is a former US Navy, which, after the so-called massacre on Thursday, became the market leader of the WLF, an incident in which soldiers of the federal disaster reaction (FEDRA) were opened to Seattle residents by the residents of Seattle against the food shortage of the quarantine zone and civil support from the military to the wolf. This also happened after Fedra killed and killed the founders of the WLF, Emma and James Patterson.

Soon afterwards, Fedra pulled out of the city and let Isaac control over Seattle. When people continued to starve and the conflict with the seraphites, Isaac's reign became increasingly dictatorial. Episode 4 turns the script from Isaac's WLF beginnings a little, which indicates that he was originally a Fedra commander who changed the pages after he had witnessed the inhuman treatment of Seattle's citizens.

“People asked … whether we get a little background story about Isaac,” Wright at the moment in a November interview with TVline. “We could. It couldn't be nice.”

ISAAC's action will also be integrated into Abby's character arch, since in the game Isaac is the one who has taken Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) and the rest of the Salt Lake City -Crew when she arrived in Seattle to Joel (Pedro Pascal), murdered the other fire flies. He is also the one who transformed her into a soldier and went to Jackson to take revenge for what Joel had done. In episode 2, Abby referred to an ethics code that her commander in Seattle (probably Isaac) decides that they should not kill people who cannot defend themselves.

Unfortunately, neither you nor Isaac seem to take this mandate too seriously.
