Local criminal book author rotates with the latest novel | News, sports, jobs

“Prisoners of darkness” by TJ Buck concentrates on Marco Fernandez, a former FBI agent who is looking for his missing twin sister.

TJ Buck is known in the past as the author of nine crime novels, but his latest novel “Prisoner of Darkness” steps a little of his familiar genre and in the world of the supernatural path.

“Prisoners of darkness” called Buck as “X files meets Frankenstein with vampires”. The story focuses on the main character Marco Fernandez, a 50 -year -old former FBI agent, whose twin sister Eva was missing at the age of 16. At the same time, the government is experimenting with transforming people into weapons, but if they cannot control what they have created, they make people in vampires. Fernandez thinks that his missing sister is one of these vampires, and Buck said that the basic story was against the government.

“I have now written nine crime novels, so I wanted to try something different,” said Buck. “I read a lot of horror novels. It took a while to find out how to find out, but I decided to start with a crime novel with vampires and take it from there.”

Buck said fans of his other novels should still be interested in “prisoners of darkness”, although it is another genre because it is still like his crime novels, only with a supernatural turn. He noticed that his books only serve for entertainment and should not be serious matters, and he was looking for a different way of writing novels. Buck also said that the book has received good reviews of people around the world so far, also in places such as Australia, India and England.

As far as future novels are concerned, Buck currently has a comic crime novel on which he is working on “Grappling with Trouble”, which focuses on Twin wrestler, whose wrestling is prohibited and ultimately works with a suspicious private detective. He said he also had several other ideas in the works.
