Surprise! Old Warrior's defeated rockets in NBA playoffs again

You can rely on three things in this life: death, taxes and the Golden State Warriors who beat the Houston Rockets in the playoffs.

Yes, the lead over the victory of Warriors Game 7 was anything but uncomplicated. The Warriors rose 3-1 in the series just to lose games in a row and left their season in a leash on Sunday.

But the end result?

It was inevitable.

Old, beaten and on the way the Warriors were only 12 seconds on Sunday and won 103-89.

It is what they do after all these years to beat Houston in big games.

“Tonight was as good as a focus on the focus and the players who performed the game plan and showed determination for 48 minutes,” said Warriors coach Steve Kerr. “Game 7 on the street – if you don't bring it with you, you go home and our boys brought it with you.”

The dubs are now five for five against the Rockets in the playoffs. New rockets or old rockets, it doesn't matter. The warriors only have a deep dislike against this redshade.

The Warriors beat the Rockets, which was led by James Harden in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019, top basketball. And it was a real rivalry – the way everyone else is compared.

Ultimately, the dominance of the warriors forced the rockets to tear down and rebuild their entire team. Houston couldn't beat the dubs, so they decided to punt a few years and try again when Steph Curry and Draymond Green had traveled out of the dispute.

“Surprise!” Green screamed four times when the Warriors left the Court on Sunday, six years after the last Toyota Center tunneling celebration of the team.

Perhaps they remember: According to the Dubs – Down Kevin Durant – the rockets in game 6 of the second round 2019 (the final of the de facto Western Conference) ended, and the Warriors celebrated as if they had won the title. It was the ultimate game of evidence for both organizations, and the Dubs were again victorious.

I remember that I was in the same hall and listened to a spontaneous media meeting of Rockets owner Tilman Ferttita.

“We will be your A -A -A -AP. I can promise you that,” said Ferttitta.

That was 2,186 days ago, Sunday. The warriors are still waiting on these heads.
