Prince George's police said that a police officer had “tried a traffic stop” on a vehicle due to a traffic violation in the I-495 to the north and the Annapolis Road in Landover around 2:45 a.m., but the driver continued and did not stop.

Shortly after the attempted stop, an official saw the vehicle on a shoulder towards the north on the I-495 near the Kenilworth Avenue.
