Family of the man who was killed in homeless camps

Atlanta, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The family of a ominous man who was killed during a homeless warehouse demands measures for his death.

Cornelius Taylor was killed in January by a city vehicle during a routine -sweep along the Auburn Avenue.

The Atlanta police said the officials had answered the scene and found the man. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

In a copy of the report to Atlanta News, a civil servant first described Taylor pulled out of the collapsed tent after the truck was plowed through the warehouse. The report says that Taylor was in “clear need” and had a bloody nose.

Those who were Taylor near Taylor said he was a man who was fun to be nearby and despite his living conditions to have a positive attitude.

Since his death, Taylor's family and supporters have asked the city to make political changes in order to better serve the courted population.

In February, the Atlanta City Council performed a law that would temporarily stop using heavy devices while storing.

The mayor of Atlanta, Andre Dickens, supported a proposed moratorium to delete the homeless camps and called for a review of urban politics for care for the Unhau. The mayor also started a homeless task force that focused on approaching systemic obstacles and supporting people with homelessness.

The judiciary for Cornelius Taylor's coalition is expected to hold a press conference on Monday at 10 a.m. to request the city to issue the proposed moratorium that would set the warehouse -Sweeps and pursue apartment solutions.

Taylor's family is expected to be present.
