The sheriff's office still examines the death of John Elway's friend

Jeff Sperbeck, John Elway's long -time friend, business partner and former agent, died last week after an accident with golf cars last weekend.

After a music festival, Elway and Sperbeck left an after-party on Saturday when Sperbeck fell from the back of a golf car that Elway drove. “I am absolutely destroyed and broken with broken heart due to the death of my close friend, business partner and agents Jeff Sperbeck,” said Elway in one last week.

The sheriff of Riverside County said last Friday in a statement that an investigation has not yet been completed, “there is nothing that points out that this is a little more than a tragic accident.”

An unanimous witness told The US sun This Elway did not drive irregularly or accelerated and did not seem to let Sperbeck lost its balance.

The same witness said that after the recent death of his sister Lee Ann Elway McCarthy, who had fought for pancreatic cancer, did not drank on the party.

The lawyer of Elway, Harvey Steinberg, gave 9News an explanation, which shared: “The investigation has confirmed what we already knew: This was a tragic accident, and sometimes things in life happen that we will never understand.”

The examination has not yet been completed, but it seems to have only been an accident.
