Nintendo Switch 2 Leck shows a new adaptation option

When Nintendo Switch starts 2 next month, it seems that the system's joy-cons have an adaptation function that has so far been unannounced. Apparently the colored side walls of the controller can be removed and replaced. As Centro Leaks discovers, there are already sellers to offer alternative options. The left Joy-Con Blue Panels has the right joy cons that are delivered with the Switch 2 while the right has red. A seller from Aliexpress already sells options with which both panels can become red or blue. The chances are good that we will see a lot more options in the coming months!

Although this may be a nice option, there are currently many things that are currently unclear. On the one hand, Nintendo has not announced this, and we do not know how easy it will be to remove the panels. When a user changes the side panel colors, the Joy-Cons still have the original colors around the thumb stick and on the metal interior. Finally, the current switch recognizes the color of a Joy-Con on the start screen. This color is programmed in the controller. Either this changes for Switch 2 if these removable panels are a planned function for the system, or this is an unofficial function that the system does not recognize. Readers can see a picture of the equipped panels in the X/Twitter contribution embedded below.

Until Nintendo officially confirms this function, we have to wait and see how the company intends to adapt the Joy-Con adjustment. It is a nice idea that has already made comparisons with the interchangeable panels on a PS5 console. However, since all changed colors contact the other colored elements of the controller, it seems a novelty and a large new feature at best.

At the present time, Nintendo has not announced any joy-contra-color variants for Nintendo Switch 2. The only previously unveiled colors are those that will start next to the system. In the past eight years we have seen a lot of different Joy-Con variants published for the current system, and it is in the opinion that we will see the same thing for Nintendo Switch. 2. Most likely, Nintendo did not want to flood the market with various options, but that will probably change as soon as the system was for a while. We could even see some special designs based on different games, as we have in the past with franchise companies such as Zelda, Pokemon and Monster Hunter.
