The community reacts to Arbor View High School Senior, who was killed by allegedly impaired drivers

Las Vegas, nev. (FOX5) – A monument grows in Northwest Valley outside of the Arbor View High School after a senior was killed and killed by a suspected, impaired driver who appeared on Saturday morning.

Fox5 heard from Community members who are understandably shaken and think about a life that went too early.

“I just want to send my prayers to her family and I'll cry.”

“It's just really sad. I can't. I don't know why I can't get this girl out of my head.”

These neighbors also mentioned the ongoing traffic safety concerns in the area when you consider that this happened in front of the Arbor View High School campus.

“I've been here in this community for 14 years. It is a very close community and we have always been worried that the children go back and forth at school. Unfortunately, because these small lines don't stop on cars.”

The driver of this car, 37-year-old Keenan Jackson, was arrested on site and appeared on Saturday morning.

He sees Dui, which leads to death, ruthless driving and driving without a valid driver's license.
