Prime Video extends the NBA Broadcast team with Steve Nash, Dwyane Wade

The NBA Hall of Famers Steve Nash and Dwyane Wade as well as the NBA as well as the WNBA champions Udonis Haslem and Candace Parker will join the first season of the NBA reporting from Prime Video, which is released in October.

They join the previously announced studio team by moderator Taylor Rooks and the analysts Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki.

Haslem, who joins Prime Video from ESPN, will act as a studio analyst in addition to Griffin, Nowitzki and Rooks for the NBA reporting before the game, half-time and the NBA reporting of the streaming network. Nash and Parker will join as rotating in-game and studio analysts. Wade will switch between the tasks in the game and in the studio analysts.

The arrival of the NBA this autumn is part of an 11-year contract, which from 2026 also gives Prime 30 annual exclusive games, including the WNBA final.

From the 2025-26 season, Prime Video will present exclusive global reporting on 66 NBA games of the regular season, including a double head of the opening week, a new NBA game for Black Friday, and all games from the Ko-rounds of the Emirates NBA Cup, including the championship.

The Prime Video also offers exclusive reporting on every game of the Sofi NBA-Play-in tournament after the season, playoff games in the first and second round as well as conference final in six of the eleven-year-old deal. Prime Video will distribute his game package in the USA and internationally with an extended package of games in selected areas, including Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Great Britain and Ireland. The extended package includes at least 20 additional prime time games per year, one conference finale per year and the NBA final in six of the 11 years.

Additional talent and production details for the NBA reporting from Prime Video will be announced in the coming months.
